This was a very good read, it was good to follow each of the son's progress in the love dep't. the stories became very gripping, the only thing I didn't like was that you were really getting into each story and they ended rather too quickly and very conveniently for the characters, the epilogues were too quick, yes, they ended each story but I would have liked for them to go on a bit longer and read of all the consequences that must have happened after each one, which was rather disappointing for me. I.E. I would like to have seen the mother brought down a peg or two, she was a real terror for a mother and a huge snob.

Six enjoyable gentle romances for the princely sum of 99p! These 'sweet and clean' stories are loosely Regency-based with some Americanisms and modern language present, eg someone is accused of 'being cheeky' rather than the more period appropriate 'impudent' or 'impertinent'. However, there is some attempt at facing period issues such as marrying out of the aristocracy and the plight of the poor, along with the familiar theme of the path to true love not running smoothly - an affliction of any era! Given there are six sons, you should find at least one you like and wish a happy ending for; so get comfortable, refreshments of your choice to hand and meet the family!

Not a bad series of romantic novels. A little samey, but good to while away an hour or two. Good value for money

Do your research. The Cabot's and the Lodge's have nothing like the Brit's history when snob comes to snub. Shame.
