Well it's finally the turn of Pothos or P as he's known to his friends to step up and claim his own mate but happily Gefn seems more than happy to do some claiming of her own! Yes it's another scorching read from this author but pairing up this brooding powerful male with a Goddess no less just kind of really upped the stakes. I mean with Hades for a father it was quite clear that P was destined for bigger things but the discoveries here just keep coming thick and fast leaving this readers head reeling! This author leaves no stone unturned as she keeps expanding this world she has created. I loved the Guardians before but now we get the realm of Thule to even further entertain and excite readers. Yes I admit I'm not a huge fan of the mating frenzy these characters succumb to but the overall story arc is very imaginative and sucks me in every time . Aimed at those with an open mind this book and indeed this series is extremely well written, very creative and did I mention hot?I was gifted an arc from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review

I'm always excited to start a book by Setta, I love the world she has built for her Guardians. This book expands the Guardians Realms and introduces us to whole new race of immortals!Thule is the realm we are bought into, it's has a more celestial feel about it, with gods and goddesses having palaces and priestess's, this is where Gefn is from and she is a Goddess.Pothos otherwise known as P has been in most books so it was high time he got his own book and his story does not disapoint. Pothos is Hades son, so while P is trying to mate with his destined mate his dad and Drake are dealing with the pair disappearing into nothingness. Gefn's brother is none to pleased and his powerful so its a tense filled time.Luckily Pothos and Gefn are somewhere much nicer and getting to know one another. They cant resist the pull and I was pleased they gave in quickly to there needing. If a new world, a hot pairing isn't enough there is lots more going in the Guardians world and its all very entertaining. At one point I was like where's Uri, he is still one of my faves, he showed up which pleased me, in fact most of the Guardians and partners appear or get mentioned which makes me happy as I've read all the books in order of publication. You can read each book as a standalone but you get more from any series starting from book one.Another fabulous read.ARC REVIEW

~~I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads ~~This is the ninth book in the series - and take heed of the warning at the beginning, this is not really a stand alone book. That said, Ms Jay has provided a quick primer to help out, and I must admit I found it useful too, as I haven't visited the Guardians in a while. As always, we have a development in the underlying plot of the Gods, Worlds and Guardians - there is a quite dramatic revelation too, so be warned! Finally Pothos is heading for his chance at happiness. Because he knows more about the mating rituals thanks to his fellow Guardians who have led the way, some things are easier - but the identity of his mate is somewhat complicated and rather a shock to him, his father Hades and the rest of the team. He has to deal with a very unhappy couple of siblings who do not want him to choose their sister - but this is no choice, but fate. I loved the cats - especially the attraction to Vane, made me really chuckle. A lovely new dynamic to the bonding story. We are certainly going to be on the edge with what has been foretold in this installment ... oh and a baby is about to join the fun!~~Wicked Reads Review Team~~

Storm Ectasy by setta Jay is a romance and sci-fi and fantasy read.As the son of Hades and a Guardian of the Realms, Pothos has been gifted with immense power to protect the inhabitants of the four Realms of Earth. Bracing for attack, he instead finds himself faced with a threat of a different sort, a beautiful golden Goddess who calls to the very depths of his soul.Absolutely fantastic read with brilliant characters. What an addition to the series, I've been waiting for this book for what seems like forever, and P's and Gfen's story is fabulous. More of P's heritage is revealed and we get to see more of Thule. Romance, steamy scenes as well as keeping you on the edge of your seat as more of the threat to the worlds is revealed, the next book can't come soon enough.
